Cheltenham Chase hotel is located on the outskirts of Gloucester and is also close to Cheltenham. Our hotel is a 4*, 122-bedroom property and has the Hardy’s restaurant, Hunters bar & lounge and a garden terrace bar, and we offer afternoon tea as well as private dining and meetings and event spaces. The leisure facilities include a gym, pool, sauna, steam room, and a relaxing Elemis spa.

What will I do?

We're looking for an exceptional General Manager who inspires and motivates others through effective leadership. This is an exciting opportunity to create an environment where your team feels valued, supported, and empowered, enabling them to deliver memorable experiences that keep guests coming back.

You'll grow sales and revenue while ensuring every guest enjoys a stay that's warm, personal, and truly unforgettable.

Is this the role for me?

  • Passionate about continually driving top line performance.
  • Previous experience operating a large M&E, Leisure & Spa, or multifaceted hotel.
  • Proven track record in developing, rolling out and operating successful concepts.
  • Strong leadership, communication and influencing skills.
  • Create a culture focused on delivering the highest levels of customer scores and online reputation.
  • Have visibility within the property.
  • An ability to think for oneself whilst understanding the difference between autonomy and accountability.
  • Strong business acumen coupled with knowledge & understanding of all commercial and financial aspects of hotel operations.
  • Identify potential opportunities and challenges and devise strategies to deal effectively with both.
  • Highly passionate & driven about hospitality.
