Associate Project Manager:

Born from our full-service restaurants, our chef-driven fast-casual format is continuing our nationwide expansion. We are looking for an Associate Project Manager to join the Development Group at CAVA.
What You’ll Do:
· Facilitate roll-out programs that vary in scale and scope to aid restaurant operations
· Assist in our multi-unit renovation project, effecting our ever-growing fleet of legacy locations
· Partner with our Facilities team to execute projects that effect our physical plant
· Support the planning and execution of cross-functional innovation, design, and rollout projects across new and existing restaurant locations
· Coordinate with third-party consultants and contractors
· Organize site surveys, gather field conditions, and assist in verifying utility, equipment, and layout requirements.
· Review design drawings, specifications, and material submittals for accuracy and compliance with project standards
· Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure alignment with brand standards, budget targets, and key milestone dates
· Facilitate project communications by preparing updates, synthesizing feedback, and driving follow-ups across teams
· Assist in managing consultants including architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors to ensure timely and accurate documentation
· Prepare and maintain clear and organized project documentation, including drawings, specifications, schedules, and status reports
· Help monitor project budgets, flag potential risks or variances, and assist with cost tracking and approvals
· Assist with value engineering exercises and compare construction options, materials, and cost impacts
· Participate in internal and external project meetings, preparing agendas, notes, and follow-ups to drive accountability
· Coordinate non-traditional project scopes including pilots, prototypes, equipment trials, layout refinements, design updates, and operational enhancements
· Support quality control efforts by reviewing work against design intent, brand standards, and operational requirements
· Contribute to the continuous improvement and evolution of project management tools, templates, and processes that support our best practices, innovation-driven organization
The Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years’ post-collegiate experience in hospitality/retail/restaurant projects
· Minimum 1 years’ experience working for a company with a roll-out program (retail/restaurants/hospitality)
· Able to manage several projects and consultants simultaneously, and work with multiple project stakeholders across the organization.
· Strong communication and time management skills
· Knowledge of restaurant operations and kitchen equipment trends & best practices
· Ability to understand design documents and construction terminology
· Positive attitude with team-driven mentality and detail-oriented approach
· Knowledge of all project documents including but not limited to construction documents, specifications, GC contracts, purchase orders, standard daily correspondence forms, submittals, RFI’s
· Proficiency with AutoCAD/REVIT, Bluebeam
· Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite proficient
· Experience using cloud-based Project Management Platforms (such as Procore, Tririga, Lucernex) a plus
· Rendering, 3D modeling, and hand sketching skills a plus
· Ability to travel up to 40%

· Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
