Sr Director of Enterprise Facilities:
Do you know what great facilities execution looks like in the field, and can you lead a team to deliver it consistently at scale? Do you have a vision for best-in-class facilities performance, and how to build a smarter, more efficient facilities organization by leveraging systems and data? The Director of Enterprise Facilities is responsible for leading all field-based M&R activities across the company’s restaurant portfolio, and creating strategy, developing, and optimizing facilities systems, data analytics, preventive maintenance programs, and capital planning and execution across the company’s restaurant portfolio. This role ensures that all locations are safe, fully operational, and maintained to brand standards, while delivering a high level of service to restaurant operations. This position leads Regional Facilities Managers and drives accountability, vendor performance, and operational excellence across all markets.
What You’ll Do:
Field Leadership & Execution
· Lead, coach, and develop Regional Facilities Managers across all markets
· Conduct regular restaurant visits to assess facilities conditions and team effectiveness
· Establish clear performance expectations and accountability for service levels
Operations Partnership
· Partner closely with Operations leadership (regional and area leaders)
· Ensure facilities priorities align with restaurant performance and guest experience
· Serve as the primary escalation point for critical restaurant issues
Preventive Maintenance Execution
· Ensure compliance with preventive maintenance programs
· Monitor execution quality and adherence across regions
Facilities Maintenance & Repair
· Oversee all repair and maintenance (R&M) activities across entire portfolio of restaurant locations
· Ensure timely response and resolution of maintenance issues
· Drive consistency in execution across all regions
Vendor Management
· Manage national and regional vendor networks (HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, general trades)
· Establish service level agreements (SLAs) and hold vendors accountable to performance standards
· Evaluate vendor performance and drive continuous improvement
· Partner with Dir Facilities Programs & Systems and Strategic Sourcing to continuously evaluate and improve vendor portfolio
Financial Management
· Manage R&M budgets and forecasts
· Identify cost savings opportunities through vendor optimization and improved execution
· Balance cost control with service quality
Facilities Systems (CMMS)
· Own and manage the company’s CMMS / facilities management platform (Service Channel)
· Ensure data accuracy, workflow optimization, and system adoption
· Drive enhancements and integrations with other enterprise systems
Reporting & Analytics
· Partner with Data Team, FP&A, and Development Reporting to create and maintain facilities performance dashboards and KPIs
· Analyze R&M spend, work order trends, and asset performance
· Provide insights to drive operational and financial decisions
Preventive Maintenance Programs
· Design, execute, and continuously improve preventive maintenance (PM) programs
· Establish standards, frequencies, and compliance tracking
· Partner with Facilities Operations team to ensure proper execution
Capital Planning & Asset Lifecycle Management
· Develop long-term asset replacement strategies (HVAC, roofing, equipment, etc.)
· Build capital repair plans and forecasts
· Support annual budgeting and long-range planning
Capital Investment Projects & Programs
· Manage 3P Vendors to execute major facilities capital investment projects and programs, beyond normal day-to-day facilities management
· Partner with Development Innovation, Programs, and Roll-outs team to plan and execute special projects
Vendor Analytics & Performance
· Track vendor performance metrics (cost, speed, quality)
· Identify opportunities for vendor consolidation and cost efficiency
· Partner with Dir Facilities Operations and Strategic Sourcing to continuously evaluate and improve vendor portfolio
Facilities Administration
· Lead Facilities Administrators responsible for work order coordination and support
· Ensure efficient work order processing and communication
Process Improvement
· Standardize facilities processes across all regions
· Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery
Emergency & Escalation Management
· Lead response to major facilities issues impacting restaurant operations
· Ensure clear communication and rapid resolution
· Abide by policies and procedures that support the service mindset
· Manage timeline expectations within and across teams, deliver on our responsibilities accordingly
· Earn the trust of Team Members and Managers by consistently embracing CAVA’s values

The Qualifications:
● 10+ years of facilities management experience in multi-unit retail or restaurant environments
● Minimum 3 years overseeing a facilities team, as a Director or above
● Proven success leading regional or national facilities teams
● Deep understanding of restaurant building systems (HVAC, refrigeration, electrical, plumbing)
● Experience managing vendor networks and service contracts
● Proficiency with CMMS platforms and facilities systems - specifically Service Channel
● Experience managing multiple capital investment projects simultaneously, and supporting the execution of a rapid high-growth portfolio
● Experience with creating R&M operating budgets, forecasting, and capital planning
● Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
● Highly visible and engaged with field teams, with a strong operator mindset
● Hands-on leader who builds trust with restaurant teams
● Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
● Detail-driven with strong process discipline
● Strong organizational and process design capabilities
● Ability to translate data into actionable insights
● High level of comfort working in fast-paced, field-driven environments
● Demonstrated ability to manage contractors, vendors, and other professionals, on both a per-project and national agreement level.
