Description
We’re looking for a capable Duty Manager to support the day-to-day running of our venue. This hourly paid role suits someone with strong hospitality knowledge who can take ownership of shifts and keep operations smooth. Responsibilities include delivering excellent service, supporting and managing the team, stock and consumable orders, stock taking, till work, and opening/closing the venue. You’ll also train staff and lead by example to maintain high standards. A keen eye for stock control and a proactive approach are essential. Flexibility is important, as the role covers varied shifts across restaurant and bar service, as well as supporting events.
The Distillery, home to Birmingham’s ever popular gin distillery, is a stone’s throw away from Brindley Place & The Arena, as well as being perfectly

Split over two floors, The Distillery can entertain day to night with a gin bar & private event space on the first floor, leading down to the pub & open kitchen dining area on the lower floor.
