Description:
We are seeking an energetic and enthusiastic marketing professional to join the team as a Local Marketing Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing various in-store marketing activities, while overseeing the customer experience in all of our restaurants.
The Local Marketing Specialist will work closely with the rest of the marketing team, operations and franchisees, and is focused on two key areas:
1. Local store marketing: Implementing and executing marketing programs at the store level. This will include activities such as: grand openings, promotions, events, fundraisers and maintaining the brand presence and consistency at all stores.
2. Customer experience: Setting KPIs, monitoring, responding to, and evaluating customer feedback; and developing actionable insights to improve our customer experience in stores (working closely with the operations team).
Responsibilities:
● Implement brand marketing and promotional campaigns
○ Coordinate the delivery, placement and distribution of all campaign materials and ensure proper execution in all of our restaurants
○ Work closely with operations to execute any campaign related activities, including events and promotions
● Build relationships with local organizations near individual restaurants through outreach, partnerships, events and fundraisers
○ Evaluate incoming requests for donations, fundraisers and events; coordinate the execution of all approved activations
○ Create an outreach strategy and proactively engage local organizations to build new partnerships within our communities
● Maintain a consistent, cohesive and high quality brand appearance at all restaurants, including menu boards, interior and exterior wayfinding and informational signage, and marketing materials
● Maintain a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction across all restaurants
○ Monitor online customer reviews across various platforms (such as Google and Yelp!), establish KPIs and work with operations and franchisees to continually improve guest experience
○ Respond to and resolve negative reviews and restaurant-related messages sent to our general email inbox
○ Oversee customer review management to ensure quality of responses, timeliness and consistency
● Contribute to general marketing strategies and ad hoc marketing projects
Qualifications:
● Education
○ Undergraduate degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field prefered
● Experience
○ Minimum of 2 years experience in a consumer marketing or promotions role with a franchised business or multi-location retail brand
○ Customer service or customer-facing experience preferred
○ Fast casual restaurant or QSR experience strongly preferred
● Skills/Requirements
○ Self-starter mentality, comfortable taking direction and developing work plans to accomplish objectives
○ Ability to prioritize work and complete tasks accurately and on time
○ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
○ Ability to motivate and drive others to execute
○ Proficiency with Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office
○ Working knowledge of project/workflow management systems
○ English fluency is required, Spanish fluency is a plus
