Are you looking to work with people who do things just that little bit differently? We started DOUGH&co in 2018 and have gone from strength to strength ever since!  Our proposition strongly focuses on both Takeaway as well as Eat in, meeting the new trends of customers expectations, having top quality restaurant food to be delivered to their doorstep. We even use our own drivers to deliver that more personal touch too!  We are really passionate about our food and our people and look for individuals in our management teams who share our values of caring for what we do and who we work with. Our teams are as individual and unique as our wood fired pizzas, we love the diversity that brings whether hiring young or old, its great to hear and learn the stories of our teams backgrounds. 

Your working world is of course formed by the people you work with, and therefore as General Manager it’s really important you recruit the right people, knowing how to identify those behaviours which create and drive successful teams and restaurants.

It is a team effort of course! And our Operations team are there to fully support and guide you in creating a culture of great food and standards, delivering fantastic customer service which will have people returning again and again.

Job Duties:

  • Challenge your team to be their best selves in a positive working environment
  • Recognising the needs of individuals, and not shying away from when something needs your attention  
  • Plan and develop the overall restaurant strategy
  • Recruit, develop and retain top class teams 
  • React to the needs and budgets of the business, controlling costs (Naturally!)

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience as a Restaurant General Manager preferable
  • Ability to nurture and develop people 
  • Good financial management skills
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Absolutely a Team player both in the restaurant and within the area
  • A Great Communicator
