Can you fix it, maintain it and keep it compliant? We're looking for a proactive Maintenance Manager with the skills and desire to maintain our hotel at The Dragonfly Hotel, Bury St Edmunds. From carrying out repairs and routine maintenance to managing fire safety checks, no two days are the same. 

The Dragonfly Hotel, Bury St Edmunds, is a busy 100 room hotel that warmly welcomes both business and leisure guests. With a large and diverse property to maintain, including guest accommodation, public areas and essential building services, the Maintenance Manager plays an important role in ensuring the hotel operates smoothly, safely and in full compliance, while maintaining high standards throughout the property. 

*Please note that this role may involve travel to other local sites as required by business needs*

The ideal Maintenance Manager will have:

  • Extensive maintenance knowledge- advantageous for Part P or other trade qualifications
  • Great communication and organisation skills- to prioritise workloads and work with colleagues
  • An understanding of Health and Safety requirements and processes
  • A strong understanding of hotel operations would be advantageous
