Downtown L.A. Proper Hotel is seeking a motivated Sales Manager to join our team.
A one-of-a-kind historic retrofit, our 148-room property located in the heart of Los Angeles features interior design by international style icon Kelly Wearstler, multiple dining options by the James Beard Award-winning Lucques Group duo, a panoramic rooftop restaurant-bar & lounge featuring a swimming pool and 14,000 square feet of meeting and event space.
Qualifications
The Sales Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Sales function in conjunction with the solicitation of business from all markets, including but not limited to business travel, corporate, leisure and entertainment. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of three years within hospitality-related sales experience and previous hotel sales experience in a luxury or lifestyle market. Strong local market knowledge of the Los Angeles area and a solid foundation in forecasting, prospecting, PMS, and Delphi software are desired. Strong sales skills required to oversee and drive sales. Excellent problem solving, analytical, organizational, presentation, and communication skills are required.
