We’ve got a great opportunity for someone who thrives on the buzz of a busy events space and loves making great events happen. The Castlefield Rooms is an award-winning, independent venue in the heart of Manchester, freshly refurbed in 2023 and directly linked with Dukes 92 — the city’s best-loved canal-side bar. With three versatile spaces hosting everything from weddings and private parties to slick corporate dos (up to 250 guests), no two days are the same.
The Role
As Assistant Events Manager, you’ll be right at the heart of the action — making sure every event runs like clockwork. Whether
it's a wedding in full swing or a conference on a tight schedule, you’ll be the calm in the chaos, keeping everything and everyone
on track.
- Oversee day-to-day event delivery across all rooms
- Be the go-to person for guests, staff and suppliers
- Lead your team with energy and focus
- Solve problems on the fly — and always with a smile
- Make sure every detail is nailed, from setup to last call
What we're looking for -
- Experience in events or hospitality (or both!)
- Organised, efficient and cool under pressure
- A team leader who’s hands-on and approachable
- Great with people – from clients to colleagues
- Naturally upbeat, with a strong work ethic
