Soho House is opening it's first Private Members club in Brooklyn and is seeking those experienced in Glass Polishing / Washing. We anticipate a high volume of covers and this role would require someone eager to maintain glassware and BOH cleanliness.

The Role...

Job Description:

Glass Washer's are tasked with the responsibility of ensuring that all stations are properly stocked throughout service. These tasks include but are not limited to the following:

Job duties:

Cleaning and polishing all CGS: glassware, silverware, coffee pots, sugar caddies, & wine buckets/stands and china.
Monitoring and replenishing server stations & barista to ensure they are properly stocked and maintained for service and for the next shift: cleaning supplies & tools including gloves, bar rags, and cleaning solutions.
Supervising station to make sure glasses are properly stacked, being cautious to avoid breakage.
Ensuring stations, kitchen corridor and barista are clean during service.
Assisting in the set up and maintaining special events such as brunch feast, buy outs, & others as requested per management.
Ensuring that the buffet is properly crumbed and replenished.
Assisting in the preparation of the gueridons for service.
Providing service for tartar station during brunch, or as needed.
Clearing any unused or dirty cutlery or glassware from stations/barista.
Working as a team to execute smooth service.
Properly executing opening and closing duties.
Qualifications and Requirements

Ability to work as part of a dynamic team to consistently deliver a quality product.
Able to walk and stand for a long period of time, at least 8 hours per shift.
Able to handle objects, reach with arms and hands, stand, sit, bend, stoop or reach for extended periods of time.
Must be able to move around fast, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing more than 25 pounds without assistance.
