We are looking for a highly energetic Spa Receptionist to join our Spa team at The Retreat, Elcot Park located in West Berkshire. 

Our 55-bedroom hotel has been transformed to offer bespoke designed bedrooms, two new exciting restaurant concepts, a state of the art spa with hot and cold tubs on the lawn, and many more experiences to offer our guests.

You will: 

  • Greet and welcome all our guests in a warm and friendly manner, whist supporting with show rounds of our Spa and facilities. 
  • Respond to guest queries and support with Spa reservations via the phone and emails. 
  • Maintain the cleanliness and our service standards of the reception desk, and wider facilities.
  • Maintain your general knowledge about our hotel, so you can advise guests on restaurant opening hours, to appointments and availability within our Hair & Beauty salon.
  • Ensure your Treatment knowledge and Gaia product knowledge is at its best..
  • Conduct hourly checks of changing rooms, pools, and gym areas ensuring all are pristine, removing unused towels and general housekeeping. 
  • Be comfortable serving drinks poolside, from our Spa bar. 
  • Engage in undertaking relevant training for your role, from retail training on Gaia products, to service recovery training with our L&D Manager. 
  • Assist in all areas of the Spa operation as requested by management.  
  • Ensure all Hygiene, Health and Safety procedures and legislation is adhered to along with all other legal requirements of the business.
