Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Spa Receptionist to join our Spa team at The Retreat, Elcot Park located in West Berkshire. 

After extensive refurbishment, our hotel has been transformed to offer 55 individually bespoke designed bedrooms, two new exciting restaurant concepts, a state of the art spa facility with membership and many more experiences to offer our guests.

You will: 

  • Deliver a warm greeting, ensuring all of our guests have a warm and attentive experience with us.
  • Proactively provide show rounds to any prospective guests who are looking to purchase membership, or even a spa day for two.
  • Be comfortable in taking reservations for the spa; including phone calls, emails, website, in person.
  • Maintain tidiness and overall apperance of our spa; ensuring reception, changing rooms, corridors are all spotless. 
  • Develop your hotel knowledge, including restaurant opening times, names of our bedrooms, local points of interest, so you can share these quirky moments with guests.
  • Regularly attend to our pools, saunas, hot tubs, steam rooms and wellness rooms, to ensure necessary Health & Safety checks are complete.
  • Undertake any identified training and development for your role, including Pool Emergency Responder & Pool Plant training.
  • Complete open / close procedures including putting “payments” through.
  • Ensure all Hygiene, Health and Safety procedures and legislation is adhered to along with all other legal requirements of the business.
