This isn’t your average host position. Think street team vibes with front door fun. You’re the first face guests see, the gatekeeper of the vibe, and a key part of the guest experience.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

·      Engage with people walking by and encourage them to come into the bar with energy and confidence

·      Create a fun, upbeat, and approachable atmosphere at the front entrance

·      Promote daily specials, live music, and events to potential guests in a natural and enthusiastic way

·      Greet every guest with a smile and make them feel welcome from the moment they arrive

·      Be knowledgeable about the venue's offerings and vibe to match guests with the experience they’re looking for

·      Collaborate with the internal team to manage flow and seating, ensuring a smooth guest experience

·      Assist in managing the guest list or any promotional events happening at the venue

·      Keep the entrance clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times

·      Represent the bar’s brand and personality in every interaction

·      Use charm, friendliness, and approachability to boost foot traffic and create loyal returning customers

Your success with us requires these qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent; relevant coursework or certifications in hospitality or administration is a plus.  
  • Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably within the food and beverage industry.  
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office and office equipment.  
  • Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail  
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences  
  • Adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced, growing environment 

Working Conditions: This is a part-time position. Flexibility in working hours, including weekends and holidays may be required.

Physical Requirements

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.  This position is regularly required to stand, reach, bend and lift heavy objects. The noise level in the work environment is typically high.  

·       Stamina and Endurance: Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods during shifts, often in fast-paced or busy environments.

·       Strength: Capability to lift and carry heavy objects, such as luggage, equipment, or cleaning supplies, typically weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

·       Manual Dexterity: Skill in handling a variety of tasks, such as cleaning, carrying items, or assisting guests with luggage.

·       Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, climb stairs, and reach in order to perform various tasks throughout the facility.

·       Good Vision and Hearing: Necessary to observe guests entering the restaurant, respond to customer needs, and communicate clearly with staff and patrons.

·       Strength: Ability to carry menus, help rearrange seating or assist with light cleaning tasks if needed.

·       Calm Under Pressure: Ability to maintain composure and professionalism in a fast-paced, sometimes hectic environment, especially during peak hours.

·       Polished Appearance: While not purely physical, maintaining a professional and well-groomed appearance is often required for interacting with guests in a front-facing role.
