Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our back-of-house operations. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for food, high standards for cleanliness and organization, and the ability to motivate and manage kitchen staff in a high-energy environment.

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
  • Supervise kitchen staff and manage day-to-day back-of-house operations

  • Oversee food preparation, quality control, portioning, and presentation standards

  • Monitor inventory, order supplies, and manage food and labor costs within budget

  • Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety regulations

  • Train, coach, and support kitchen team members for optimal performance

  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef and Front of House team to ensure seamless service

  • Maintain kitchen cleanliness, organization, and food safety standards

  • Handle scheduling, shift coverage, and staff performance reviews

  • Lead by example in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Your success with us requires these qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Kitchen Manager, Sous Chef, or similar leadership role

  • Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food safety, and culinary techniques

  • Excellent leadership, time management, and organizational skills

  • Ability to work in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment

  • ServSafe certification or equivalent preferred

  • High school diploma or equivalent; culinary degree is a plus

  • Mobility: Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, and reach

  • Good Hand-Eye Coordination: Essential for food prep, plating, and safety

  • Tolerating Heat: Comfort working in a hot environment for extended periods

  • Speed and Efficiency: Critical during high-volume service periods

  • Visual and Hearing Acuity: Necessary to ensure food quality and safety
