Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Sr. Accounting Manager to join our team. You will play a crucial role in supporting our restaurant operations and real estate portfolio by assisting the accounting team with a variety of accounting functions to ensure that we are in compliance with GAAP. This position requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, and the ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
· Prepare and review weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial statements for completeness and in accordance with GAAP.
· Prepare and post intercompany journal entries for multiple locations across the entire portfolio of hospitality and real estate entities.
· Prepare/review/maintain month end Balance Sheet account reconciliations for specific accounts across multiple entities.
· Develop and maintain budgets and forecasts for multiple locations and properties and provide variance analysis.
· Monitor cash flow for multiple locations to ensure proper liquidity for operations and any long-term liabilities.
· Establish and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
· Contribute to implementation and maintenance of process improvements to enhance reporting and data integrity.
· Update and maintain all local, state, and federal filings in accordance with all regulatory requirements for multiple locations.

Your success with us requires these qualifications:
· 5 + years of accounting experience, preferably with 2 years of management experience.
· 5 + years of experience working with ERP system and/or Accounting software
· Experience with multi-entity organizations highly desirable, but not required
Education
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field required.
· MBA/CPA/CMA is a plus

This is primarily an office role that requires you to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time although standing in, and moving between, work areas may be required. You will need to be able to operate a computer and other office productively machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer, for a significant part of each day. This role frequently requires you to move around our office or our other properties. This role occasionally requires the ability to move objects weighing up to 25 pounds. You will also need to be able to operate a motor vehicle to visit various properties and meeting sites and communicate effectively in person, before groups, and over the telephone.
