Candidate should be an independent "self-starter", enthusiastic to work with a team in a fun, high-energy environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- guest relations, addressing customer requests and concerns
- staff scheduling
- staff / team management
- opening or closing of shift
- cash reconciliation and control
- service quality control
- oversees building/facility maintenance
- dry goods, tabletop, supplies ordering and inventory control
- greets guests, escorts them to tables, and provides menus during peak periods and when host is occupied
- assigns work tasks and coordinates activities of dining room personnel to ensure prompt and courteous service to patrons
- trains dining room employees in proper service etiquette
- health department compliance
- delivery/to-go management
- kitchen liaison
NYC restaurant management experience preferred.
