ABOUT YOU

You bring confidence, empathy, and professionalism to every interaction, whether with guests or colleagues. Calm under pressure and committed to excellence, you take pride in creating memorable experiences at every opportunity.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Fabric Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining the finishes and overall fabric of the hotel and associated areas to the highest standards. You will carry out both planned preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across guest rooms and all hotel areas, alongside painting, decorating, and general fabric works, including silicone application, grouting, and finishing tasks. You will proactively and reactively maintain all areas within the hotel’s demise in a courteous manner, ensuring that Pan Pacific standards of quality and service are consistently met. You are expected to ensure that every task is completed to a high standard. Where this is not possible, all reasonable efforts must be made, and appropriate follow-up actions clearly communicated and arranged. All tasks will be issued via the Engineering Office. Upon completion, works must be reported promptly to enable job closure and to ensure that all affected areas are handed back to the relevant department in a clean and presentable condition. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Respond to all job requests within the timeframes set out in SOPs
  • Assist in ensuring all statutory regulations are always met
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge of the building and its services, including but not limited to:
           a) Layout of the building and identification of all areas

           b) Awareness of any changes or alterations to the building and its services

           c) Understanding of hotel outlets and the services they provide

  • Maintain the building and its services to the highest standards
  • Learn, understand, and follow all guidelines and SOPs
  • Maintain stock control, ensuring items are replenished without depleting stock levels
  • Ensure all areas within the hotel and Engineering department are always kept clean and tidy, including plant rooms and workshops
  • Ensure all work areas are cleaned and left in a safe and tidy condition upon completion of each task
