We are looking for Kitchen Porters to join our passionate Kitchen team in both our Thyme Restaurant – The Ox Barn, and our award-winning Village Pub – The Swan.
Rooted in a passion for the local land, food and entertaining, our carefully curated menus tell a story of the farm and seasons. A sustainable ethos and a dedication to good, honest food served without pretention is at the heart of our kitchen. Our menus change daily in response to the produce in our two acre kitchen garden, in addition to using fresh eggs from our flocks of hens, geese, quail and ducks and lamb, hogget and mutton from their rare-breed sheep.
The Ox Barn is a contemporary restaurant with a spectacular bar and seven-and-a-half metre Charvet open kitchen.
Just a short stroll from Thyme, The Swan sits at the heart of the village of Southrop adjacent to the green. Its recorded history dates back as far as 1606 when it was known as the Bakehouse, serving bread and ale to the farm workers.
