Kitchen Manager
Location: Thyme, The Cotswolds
Reports to: Chef Director
We’re looking for a Kitchen Manager to join our team - someone highly organised, detail-driven, and passionate about keeping a kitchen running smoothly behind the scenes.
This is a pivotal role at the heart of our operation. You’ll be the person who ensures everything is in place so our chefs can do what they do best: create exceptional food and memorable experiences.
The Role
As Kitchen Manager, you’ll oversee the systems, structure, and compliance that underpin our kitchen.
You’ll also play a key supporting role to the Chef Director - helping manage a busy and dynamic schedule that spans kitchen operations, business and board commitments, as well as PR activity and photoshoots.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Supporting food cost tracking and helping the kitchen stay within budget
· Ensuring all health, safety, and food hygiene standards are compliant and up to date
· Maintaining documentation for audits and achieving top hygiene ratings
· Supporting and coordinating food hygiene training across the team
· Managing and maintaining the allergen matrix, ensuring clear communication
· Supporting rota planning, administration, and operational organisation
· Assisting the Chef Director with diary management, PR coordination, and photoshoots
· Driving efficiency, reducing waste, and improving systems
