Job Description: Cocktail Waitress
Report to: Floor Manager
Education: College education preferred
POSITION SUMMARY
The Cocktail Waitress is responsible for being knowledgeable of all cocktails, wines, and beers on our menu, bringing beverages to the customer and retrieving empty glasses during the shift. The Cocktail Waitress will also be responsible for bringing small plates to guests that pair nicely with cocktails ordered. Ideal candidate with have a friendly demeanor with strong customer service skills.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Greet patrons as they enter an establishment
• Prepare and serve drinks as ordered
• Prepare station for readiness
• Serve alcoholic beverages and food
• Be knowledgeable of the cocktail menu and answer all questions from guests
• Remove dishes and glassware to assist servers and bussers
• Stock service area as instructed
• Be alert and monitor all guests during service
QUALIFICATIONS & JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Previous experience as a Cocktail Waitress in a high-volume restaurant venue
• Provide impeccable customer service
• Maintain high-quality Service Standards, clean work habits with a great attention to detail
• Must have excellent verbal communication skills and can work a flexible schedule
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
• Must work well individually and as a team player
• Must be able to stand and walk for long shifts of 8-12 hours
