Job Title: HEAD TAPSTER/SUPERVISOR X 2
Salary: Competitive, dependant on experience
Hours: 40-45
We have an exciting opportunity to be working closely with Czech legends - Budvar! Our new site will be located on The Strand and is due to open at the end of April. Our focus will be on the different Czech pours, ensuring glass cleanliness and the best foam you'll ever drink!
We will be flying the team out at the end of March for Budvar School Training at the brewery and then heading back to the new site with our newly fitted, state of the art Czech bar to practice what we've learnt. By the time launch night comes around we'll be slinging out the finest pours in town!
We are looking for confident and positive Head Tapsters/Supervisors that have incredible attention to detail and thrive in fast paced environments. They will be over seeing the rest of the team ensuring that all staff are trained to a high beer pouring standard. A passion for beer is essential. We will also be serving cask ale, so the candidate must be well cellar trained. Experience essential.
ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Leading by example by delivering a warm and welcoming guest experience that reflects the essence of the company.
- Knowing the clientele and assessing their needs/preferences.
- Making recommendations and ensuring a positive guest experience.
- Ensuring a good venue atmosphere is maintained, i.e. Music, lighting, vibe etc.
- Ensuring product quality and perfect pours.
- Cellar maintenance and cask care.
- Ensuring opening and closing tasks are being carried out properly.
- Key Holder
- General housekeeping & organisation.
- keeping up to date with beer trends & new breweries.
- Overseeing cleanliness of bar, paying attention to possible health hazards and regulation violations, reporting any to the GM.
- Ensuring all legal requirements are adhered to and legislation is implemented regarding the service of alcohol.
- Promote and practice compliance with fire, food and drinks safety, hygiene standards and security regulations.
- Staff Training
- Accurately recording waste/staff drinks.
- Approving deliveries
- Stock Rotation
