Hotel Co 51 is seeking a dedicated Group Sales Coordinator to join our team in Glasgow. As a key member of our Group Sales department, you will provide essential administrative support to our sales team, ensuring the smooth operation of our group booking processes. 

Your Role: 

  • Administrative Support: Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Group Sales team, including contract preparation, data entry, and report generation. 

  • Contract Management: Accurately and efficiently create and manage group contracts, ensuring compliance with company standards. 

  • Data Management: Maintain accurate records of group inquiries, bookings, and correspondence. 

  • Communication: Effectively communicate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Prepare and process group contracts, ensuring accuracy and adherence to legal requirements. 

  • Enter and maintain group booking data in the property management system (Opera). 

  • Generate reports on group sales performance and activity. 

  • Manage the group email inbox, responding to inquiries and distributing leads as required. 

  • Provide administrative support for sales team meetings and events. 

  • Collaborate with hotel operations to ensure smooth group arrivals and departures. 

Skills and Experience: 

  • Strong organisational and time management skills. 

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. 

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management systems (Opera preferred). 

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. 

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within the hospitality industry is preferred.
