Events Set Up Team Member

We are an independent family run luxury venue with multiple restaurants, a farm shop, picture house, wedding venue, events space, a festival field and a hotel. 

We are care about our land, our people and our guests with a desire  to delivery industry leading service with a goal to becoming one of the best hotels in the UK 

We are recruiting for an Events Set Up Team Member to join our busy team on a casual basis. 

The suitable candidate will be working evenings & nights. 

The role of Events Set Up Team Member will involve:

  • Setting up conference rooms and events spaces, moving chairs, furniture and other items around the site as required.
  •  Ensuring all areas presentable and ready for the daily operations the following day.
  • To ensure that the venues and immediate gardens are clean, presentable, and tidy.
  • Maintain service and  storage areas, motoring what is used, making sure things are returned and handed over. 
  • Bottle water from our direct source ready for the following day

Requirements for the Events Set Up Team Member:

  • Our ideal candidate would have previous hotel experience in a similar role
  • All applicants must have a flexible approach to their work and be willing to work the hours required of the business
  • An excellent standard of presentation is essential
  • Hours will vary depending on the business needs 
  • Hours may be unsociable covering hours into the early morning post event
  • Be knowledgeable on general hotel operations
  • Preferably hold a full driver’s license
  • We have live in options available
