THE ROLE

OVERVIEW

Attention to detail is at the heart of everything we do, from product choice and menu development to creating the perfect environment throughout the day ,everyday.

To be a professional, committed and proactive  Stock Controller who would enjoy working in an exciting, fast-paced environment.

You will also assist in managing inventory and resources, ensure that quality and safety controls are followed and maintain current license standards. You should be able to work with diverse personalities and diffuse tense situations.

To succeed as a stock controller , you should be observant and have the ability to think decisively and efficiently.

You should be efficient, observant, knowledgeable, and personable.

They have a comprehensive and extended knowledge of the menu and the capability to order stock in a timely and efficient manner to the needs of the bar.

The goal of all employees is to deliver best of the best hospitality experience for our Guests which makes them want to return; you should be full of positivity, high energy, a proud and loyal representative of the F1Arcade brand.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

·        Help each other / think about your team – where a colleague may be busy, keep the guest feeling acknowledged.

·        Training and developing skills for all your team. Ongoing support to your team mates.

·        Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked at all times 

·        Ensure that the POS system is maintained accurately with relevant stock holding information.

·        Must follow the wastage recording procedure.

·        Have a great understanding of the correct storage procedures.

·        Has efficient systems of food and beverage storage to optimise service efficiency; stock taking; accurate par levels; ordering requirements

·        Acts responsibly and with care with department-related stock e.g. beverage, glasses, bar equipment to ensure appropriate stock levels are maintained and wastage is minimised.

·        Keeps management and bar team informed of par levels of products with positive impact GP margins.

·        To ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained by following all cleaning practices. Be aware of your responsibilities regarding Health and Safety at Work and follow all measures accordingly.

·        To have a good knowledge and understanding of all food and drink menus and an in-depth knowledge of those for your department.

·        To communicate with the Duty/Bar Manager regarding any problems or concerns a guest might have.

·        To attend training sessions and team meetings as required and to be involved in and contribute to these.

SKILLS AND BACKGROUND

You must have previous bartending experience in a high-volume establishment.

Extensive beverage knowledge , you must be able to create most classic cocktails, understanding of drink mixing tools and techniques.

Strong task and time management abilities

Team leader experience or more education relevant to the role

You must have a good understanding of working safely. Basic knowledge of food and fire safety

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
