Human Resource Generalist


Description

Position Summary:  This role should be knowledgeable to execute all General HR areas of day-to-day support to an organization (Recruitment, Onboarding, Employee Relations/Engagement, Benefits, Compensation, Training & Development, Legal Compliance, Payroll, Risk Management, Workplace Safety, Workers Compensation, Performance Management, Retention, and HR Analytics) with ability and interest to specialize in specific areas as assigned.  This is a direct report relationship to the CPO. 

Role Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive HR Generalist experience
  • Working knowledge of general best employment practices as well as state/federal legislations and requirements
  • Working knowledge and administration of workplace safety and the prevention of workplace injuries
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is strongly preferred
  • Proficiency in Spanish is required
  • Strong documentation, presentation, and computer skills to include MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point), Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ADP and HRIS programming

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • General working knowledge of all areas of HR strategic and tactical organizational support with focus in oversight, execution, and informed coaching with company leaders and teams in the areas of
  1. Employee Relations, Training & Development, Performance Management, and Retention OR
  2. Payroll, HRIS and HR Analytics, Benefits, Compensation, Risk Management, Legal Compliance, and Retention.
  • Assist with overall Strat Plan and AOP Initiative planning and execution
  • Oversee and administer Employee Recognition and Incentives Programs
  • Develop and provide timely, accurate and complete reports as business requires
  • Take point on Special Project Implementation as assigned by Supervisor
  • Completes other projects/initiatives as assigned by Supervisor

    • Strong customer service and relationship skills with internal and external customers
    • Great problem solving and prioritization skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are a must
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and able to adapt to new software
