The Role

We’re looking for an Assistant General Manager to join the team at Famous Three Kings.

This is a key role in one of London’s busiest sports pubs. You’ll work closely with the General Manager to run the business day-to-day, leading the team, driving standards, and delivering strong commercial performance.

You’ll be accountable for the shift, the team, and the guest experience. When the GM isn’t there, you are.

This is a hands-on leadership role; you’ll be on the floor, setting the tone, building the team, and making sure we deliver, shift after shift.

What we’re looking for

• Strong experience in a management role within a high-volume pub or bar
• Confident leading large teams in fast-paced environments
• Commercially aware, understands sales, labour, and cost control
• Leads from the front, visible, hands-on, and respected by the team
• Calm under pressure and able to make clear decisions quickly
• Passion for hospitality and building great teams
• Ambition to step into a GM role in the future

The Role Includes

• Supporting the GM in the day-to-day running of the business
• Leading shifts and taking full ownership in the GM’s absence
• Driving service standards and guest experience
• Managing labour, rotas and team productivity
• Supporting recruitment, training and development
• Maintaining strong stock control and cost management
• Handling guest feedback and resolving issues confidently
