Farm Shop Restaurant Manager

We are a family run 4 star hotel set it the beautiful Hertfordshire Countryside, we are currently seeking to recruit a Restaurant Manager to run our busy farm shop. Working within an excellent team you will be responsible for rotas, ordering, staff training and development.

The Farmshop is our casual dining restaurant open 7 days a week - as the farmshop is closes at 6pm, there are no evenings involved in this role.   

The role of Restaurant Manager will involve:

  • Day to day management of the farmshop, ensuring all guests receive excellent standards of customer service throughout.
  • Leading shifts, including training and motivating the team.
  • Achieving budgetary targets and making recommendations for development.
  • Liaising effectively with the Kitchen and Head Chefs regarding menus and upcoming bookings.
  • Dealing with customer queries and issues.
  • Monitoring rotas on a daily basis
  • Ensuring excellent standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Requirements for Restaurant Manager:

  • The successful candidate must have previous restaurant experience - supervisory at a minimum.
  • Candidates must enjoy being a “hands-on” member of a team. All applicants must have a flexible approach to their work and be willing to work the hours required of the business.
  • An excellent standard of presentation is essential.
  • Our managers work a variety of shifts, on any 5 days from 7, on any day of the year.
