Description
The Mount Royal Hotel by the Unlimited Collection is seeking a charming and engaging Senior Sous Chef with a passion for service excellence.
You will report to the Head Chef, working towards providing our guests with memorable experiences of the restaurant.
The Senior Sous Chef will:
- Be responsible for leading, coordinating and supervising the Kitchen team, in the absence of the Head Chef, ensuring service achieves a consistently standard suitable to that of an ambitious 4 star Hotel
- Provide exceptional service by demonstrating full knowledge of our products and facilities
- Ensure planning and preparation for service is completed in a prompt and efficient manner
- Work collaboratively with your colleagues to deliver captivating experiences
- Assist the Head Chef in the promotion and management of the criteria for the AA Rosette Standards throughout all required areas
To be successful in the role of Senior Sous Chef we require:
- Excellent organisation and leadership skills
- An ability to bring the guest experience to life throughout the hotel
- The ability to communicate and organize yourself in line with different guest expectations
- A good command of English is essential, a second language is advantageous
