We are currently looking for a passionate Assistant Manager to join our team in Fego Ascot.

The Role

As an Assistant Manager you will work closely with the General Manager to support the day-to-day running of the restaurant, ensuring excellent service, strong team leadership and smooth operations.

You will be hands-on during service, leading from the front, supporting the team and making sure every guest has a great experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the daily operation of the restaurant
• Leading the team during busy service periods
• Hosting guests and ensuring a warm, welcoming atmosphere
• Managing rotas, teams levels and team organisation
• Supporting stock control and weekly stock takes
• Monitoring sales, labour and operational KPIs
• Ensuring service standards and quality are consistently high
• Supporting team training, development and coaching
• Helping manage busy trading periods and events such as Royal Ascot Week
• Maintaining strong communication between kitchen and floor teams

This is a hands-on leadership role, requiring someone who is proactive, organised and comfortable working in a busy restaurant environment.

What We Are Looking For

You should:

• Have previous experience as a Supervisor or Assistant Manager in a restaurant or café
• Be confident leading a team during busy service
• Be able to think on your feet and solve problems quickly
• Have strong communication and leadership skills
• Be organised with good planning and time management
• Be proactive and able to work using your own initiative
• Enjoy working as part of a close-knit team environment
• Be passionate about hospitality and guest experience
