We’re on the lookout for a passionate Bakery/Pastry Chef to join our friendly team at the Fego Central Production Unit (CPU) in Byfleet, Surrey.
This is a full-time, permanent role with day-only hours — Monday to Friday, typically 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Occasional weekend work may be required, on a rotational basis.
This is a brilliant opportunity for an enthusiastic chef who’s excited to grow and be part of our brand-new artisanal bakery concept. Prior experience as a baker or pastry chef would be desirable — especially if you’ve worked with laminated doughs — but full training will be provided for the right person.

As a Bakery/Pastry Chef, you will:
Be an integral part of our kitchen team, contributing to the smooth running of daily operations
Learn the inner workings of a busy production kitchen
Maintain a clean, organised and efficient section at all times
Follow instructions and specifications set by the Head Pastry Chef with care and precision
Support the production of consistently high-quality pastries and baked goods

Excellent attention to detail
Strong communication skills and a collaborative attitude
Calm and focused under pressure
Friendly, positive and professional demeanour
Willingness to listen, learn and take direction effectively
