NUTS AND BOLTS OF THE JOB

• Continuously develop and implement measures to keep existing business relationships revenue with the account in all hotel segment
• Continuous acquisition of new accounts and developing measures for successful implementation
• Develop strong long-term relationships with local decision makers/ influencers
• Build account/action plans that are forward looking
• Must possess a clear understanding of the hotels business strategies to set goals and determine action plan to meet those goals
• Use knowledge of customer daily operations & challenges to identify opportunities to grow the account
• Ensures that activities are aligned with Hotel / Generator strategy and sales KPI´s
• Work closely with the Central Reservations Office for group enquiries
• Works closely with Revenue Management and General Manager to ensure to maximize the total revenue opportunity from the market
• Represents the hotel at various industry events
• Manage RFP process for the hotel
• Prepares sales proposals for clients
• Additional duties as assigned

YOUR ROCK STAR EXPERIENCE

• Degree in hospitality management, marketing, or a related field
• Proven experience as Sales Manager
• Experience in sales and contract negotiations
• Fluency in job related English both verbal and non-verbal.  Other languages a plus.
• Must possess strong communication skills both written and verbal, including the ability to communicate effectively via email
• Polished personal presentation with warm, confident, and gracious personality
• Basic word processing and spreadsheet skills
• Attention to detail

Employment Requirements: Employees must be able to furnish necessary identification providing eligibility to work in the United States as defined in the immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 (IRCA). If hired, the employee must complete and submit an Employment Eligibility Verification (Form I-9) at the start of employment. This position does not offer sponsorship of Work Visas.
