We are looking for a Finance Assistant - Income Auditor to become part of a specialised and hands on Finance & Purchasing team that provides a dedicated accounting service on behalf of the business, guests and suppliers.

Working alongside the Finance Manager and Team, this is a great opportunity to grow in a finance role.


Key Responsibilities

  • Overseeing daily revenue verification and reconciliation across all hotel departments
  • Posting revenue and settlement journals and ensuring system interfaces run smoothly
  • Preparing daily audit and management reports
  • Conducting monthly spot checks to ensure compliance across systems and processes
  • Assisting internal and external auditors and contributing to month‑end tasks
  • Review and monitor allowances, rebates, and complimentary stays to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies across all outlets to support smooth daily operations and accurate financial reporting
  • Conduct variance analysis to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborate with operational teams to enhance financial accuracy and overall performance

What we are looking for

  • To be successful for this role, you will have experience as an Income Auditor or in a similar role.
  • This position requires a working technical knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and General Cashiering, Internal Controls, Policies and Procedures as it relates to Income Audit.
  • A proficient knowledge of OPERA/InfoGenesis and Resort Suite is preferable.
  • A working knowledge of Excel is a must as well as a solid mathematical aptitude and well developed problem-solving skills.
  • We encourage a diverse workforce however you will be required to have very good levels of written and spoken English and be eligible to work in the UK. Fluency in a second language would be beneficial.
