What you'll do
As an Accounts Payable Manager, you will lead and oversee the
accounts payable function across The Dorchester Collection’s three UK hotels,
ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and stakeholder engagement.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Team Leadership: Managing and motivating
the Accounts Payable team, setting clear KPIs to drive business efficiencies
and stakeholder engagement.
- Process Management: Ensuring accounts
payable processes are robust, efficient, and well-communicated across the
business.
- Financial Oversight: Reviewing open
purchase orders on ADACO and reconciling vendor statements on a monthly basis.
- KPI Reporting: Developing financial
reports to track performance and ensure payment processes are operating at peak
efficiency.
- Supplier & Vendor Relations:
Maintaining strong relationships with vendors and ensuring prompt resolution of
queries.
- Problem-Solving: Using flexibility and
creativity to improve payment processing times and enhance financial
operations.
What
you’ll bring
Essential Skills and Experience
- Accounts Payable Leadership: Experience
managing an accounts payable function, including setting and tracking KPIs.
- Financial Software Expertise: Strong
understanding of IT and accounting software packages, including GP Dynamics,
Docuware, and Docusign.
- Vendor & Stakeholder Management:
Ability to liaise effectively with vendors and internal teams to ensure
financial accuracy and prompt payments.
- Process Improvement: Experience refining
financial processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and communication across
departments.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to
clearly communicate financial information and ensure effective team
collaboration.
- Fluency in English: Required to
communicate with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
Preferred Skills and Experiences
- Hospitality Finance Experience: Previous
experience in luxury hospitality or hotel financial operations.
- Advanced Analytical Skills: Ability to
develop and interpret KPI reports for business decision-making.
- Problem-Solving Mindset: Creative approach
to overcoming financial processing challenges and improving turnaround times.
