We are seeking passionate individuals to join our dynamic team at a bustling Brasserie style fish restaurant located in Borough Market. As a Commis Chef, you will thrive in a fast-paced environment and possess a genuine love for cooking.

The position is ideal to those who wants to learn more and develop.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior chefs.
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness in the kitchen.
• Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
• Demonstrate creativity and attention to detail in food presentation.
• Embrace opportunities for learning and skill development.

Requirements:

• 1-2 years of experience as a Commis or Demi Chef in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Proficiency in knife skills and food preparation techniques.
• Availability for full-time work, including flexible shifts over a 5-day week.
• Eagerness to learn, grow, and develop culinary skills.
• Genuine passion for food and cooking.
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in English with good communication skills.
