Due to internal progression we're on the lookout for a confident and passionate General Manager to lead the team at The Fletchers Arms - a much-loved pub at the heart of Denton.

This rare opportunity offers the chance to lead a brilliant team that delivers warm hospitality, excellent food and drink, and memorable moments for our guests. We are looking for a natural leader with infectious enthusiasm, previous management experience, and a genuine passion for the guest experience. 

The Fletchers Arms is currently managed by Zac who over the last 6 years has risen through the ranks at Almond Family Pubs and is now ready for his next challenge with us. Zac has grown a strong and stable team that pride themselves on a well-pulled pint and first class food quality and service. In 2023 the pub underwent a massive refurbishment and still looks fantastic today - a stylish and welcoming space for both diners and drinkers. 

With a superb selection of stunning pubs all located in and around the Stockport area, Almond Family Pubs is a special place to work. 100% family owned, we are a close-knit team of people who are passionate about working in great pubs and delivering incredible customer service. We’re well known for our delicious carveries, tasty pub classics and great beers and wines, and this will be the 5th pub to join our family.

As General Manager, you will:

  • Lead from the front, inspiring and managing both the front and back of house team
  • Be responsible for all operational aspects of the pub, from recruitment and rotas to service standards and compliance
  • Drive excellence in hospitality, food quality, and customer experience
  • Collaborate with our central team on marketing, events, and community engagement
  • Manage P&L, stock, budgets and business performance to maximise profitability
  • Be a brand ambassador for Almond Family Pubs
