The Job:

We are seeking a new regionally-based HR Business Partner to join our HR Team - looking after our "North" region, covering Edinburgh, Glasgow, Leeds, Manchester and Liverpool. 

Partnering closely with the Operations Manager, the HRBP provides strategic HR support, drives people initiatives, and ensures operational excellence through effective workforce management.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Partner and act as a trusted advisor to the Operations Managers, aligning HR strategy with business goals.
  • Lead and contribute to HR initiatives aligned with strategic priorities, such as retention, engagement, talent development and succession planning.
  • Regular venue visits across the region to follow up that initiatives are embedded and that best people practices are in place.
  • Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations issues
  • Create and review ER Guides/training to support our managers
  • Partner with Operations Manager to identify talent needs and implement recruitment and retention strategies
  • Facilitate performance management, succession planning and development initiatives
  • Oversee recruitment, support with Induction and management development.
  • Create, review and implement HR policies and procedures
  • Use HR metrics to drive data-informed decisions and continuous improvement
  • Take ownership of key HR projects as agreed as part of wider people plan

Skills & Experience Required: 

  • Proven experience as an HRBP in hospitality or similar industry
  • Experience supporting multi-site operations and partnering with both Operations Managers and venue General Managers
  • Experience in managing complex ER cases
  • Demonstrated experience leading HR projects and contributing to people strategy
  • Knowledge of Harri ATS and Fourth Hospitality systems desirable
  • Practical knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices
  • Ability to remain calm, focused and solution-oriented in high pressure or difficult situations
  • Strong interpersonal and conflict resolution skills
  • Analytical and problem solving skills with a commercial mindset
  • Ability to travel regularly to conduct venue visits and attend London HQ for key meetings
