Job description

An excellent opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic F&B Team as an Conference & Events Assistant.

As Conference and Events Assistant you will have an important part to play in our team assisting in the day-to-day operation and smooth running of conferences that we have in, and any events in the evening. Key focus will be on ensuring guests have a positive and memorable experience, department preparation, and food and drink service.

You don’t need any experience to join our team and become one of us.  All we want from you is a positive attitude, smile on your face and a passion to work hard in the exciting world of hospitality.

Duties include...

  • Setting up meeting rooms and events areas
  • Delivering the highest standards in service and presentation
  • Preparing & maintaining tea/coffee stations
  • Assist guests with AV requirements
  • Ensuring all working & storage areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Supporting F&B operations with lunches and banqueting dinners


What we’re looking for …

  • Excellent customer service skills
  • To be aware of food hygiene
  • The ability to move items of furniture, chairs/tables etc.
  • Good communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ensuring all areas are clean and presentable
  • Flexibility to work on a rota basis across seven days a week
  • The ability to think on your feet, respond quickly and problem solve effectively
  • The ability to complete tasks efficiently and in timely manner
