Description

At the iconic Athenaeum of 116 Piccadilly, Mayfair, you’ll be working with us to deliver our famous five-star service while keeping our independent & unique spirit at heart.

We have 162 rooms, including 18 townhouse residences, three meeting spaces, a bar and restaurant, featuring seasonal menus championing the very best local, sustainable produce and a decadent afternoon tea, we’re a lively place to work. 

As F&B Supervisor, you’ll oversee the smooth running of the shifts and delivering our five-star guest service in not only our restaurant but our bar, Meeting & Event spaces and terrace.

Person Specification:

  • Calm and collected under pressure, with the ability to prioritise and adapt.
  • Tackle challenges with a solution focused mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills, you can share your thoughts in an engaging manner through different methods.
  • Able to demonstrate leadership behaviours that convey confidence and command respect from others.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Provide a personalised service, with personal understanding of our guests needs to deliver our five-star service.
  • Have expert knowledge of all food items, dishes, wines, and beverages across our various Food & Beverage departments.
  • Handle customer complaints or queries professionally and promptly.
  • Look for ways to upsell and improve the guest experience in the F&B outlets.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and shift planning to ensure adequate coverage.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage team members are fully trained on the hotel’s Health and Safety Policy and always adhere to safe working practices, including compliance with Liquor and Licensing Laws, food hygiene, and safety regulations
