Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Restaurant Host to join our dedicated team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, setting the tone for their dining experience. This role requires excellent interpersonal skills, a welcoming demeanour, and a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Your Role in Our Family:

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive and provide a friendly welcome.
• Manage reservations and coordinate seating arrangements to optimize the dining experience.
• Escort guests to their tables and present menus.
• Answer phone calls and assist with inquiries or reservations.
• Maintain a clean and organized host station.
• Monitor the dining area to ensure guest satisfaction and address any special requests.
• Collaborate with the waitstaff and management team to ensure smooth operations.
• Uphold high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
• Assist with managing the guest flow to optimize seating and service efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies, standards, and procedures.

What Would Make You the Perfect Fit?

• Past roles within Hotel Restaurants with a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a five-star environment.
• Experience at supervisory level is essential.
• Knowledge of Micros systems would be advantageous.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Very flexible approach towards working hours – i.e. including weekends.
• Loyal and trustworthy, honest, positive, responsible, very committed, passionate.
