Your country home away from home, nestled within 12 acres of picturesque Hertfordshire countryside. Sopwell House is a luxurious, family-owned Georgian country house hotel offering timeless elegance and modern comfort. Omboo is our contemporary pan-Asian dining destination, inspired by the vibrant flavours, colours, and traditions of Asia. Blending refined culinary craft with a relaxed yet elevated atmosphere, Omboo offers guests a dining journey that celebrates creativity, innovation, and cultural richness. We are currently seeking passionate waiters to join our dedicated Omboo team, delivering vibrant and memorable dining experiences within our pan-Asian fine dining restaurant, while also supporting our elegant Afternoon Tea service.

Your role in our family:

  • Maintain a clean, organised, and well-presented restaurant environment, including table setup and service stations.
  • Anticipate guest needs, respond promptly to requests, and ensure every guest feels valued and cared for.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen and front-of-house teams to deliver a seamless, high-quality service.
  • Take pride in your appearance, professionalism, and your contribution to upholding the standards of Sopwell House.
