Key Responsibilities:
· Host and manage the 1887 restaurant to 5* standard and +1 service standard of food service for all guests.
· Communicate with the guests during their stay so that they have their expectations exceeded by anticipatory faultless service.
· Deal with any guests’ complaints and queries in line with Forbes Standards and report actions appropriately to the General Manager.
· Liaise with the head chef in coordinating professional food service and knowledge
Performance Manage all F & B team members so that they are confident and professional in their role as Top Performers
· Take Duty Manager responsibility for the resort as required
· Manage the wine list so that it is interesting, varied and competitive.
· Manage the team rotas to ensure productivity and work-life balance compatibility.
· Manage food and beverage supplies and listed suppliers for quality, variety, sustainability and efficiency.
· Manage the stock control for the hotel to ensure that it is efficiently controlled with annual price reviews and analysis to ensure competitive and positive working relationships with suppliers
