Job Title:
                                Food and Beverage Assistant

Department:                      Bo and Muc & 1887 Restaurants

Responsible to:                  Food and Beverage Supervisor

Responsible for:                Being a Top Performer

Hours:                                 45 hours over 5 days

Scope and general purpose: Inspire and create memorable experiences, so everyone who visits us feels special.

MAIN Responsibilities:

Guest

  • Co-operate with your training so that you are confident and competent.

·        Professionally serve Breakfast, Lunch, Tea/Coffee and Dinner.

  • Setting tables and ensuring all dining, areas are ready for service.
  • Deliver food and drink to Bo and Muc, 1887 Whisky and Beinn Bar.
  • Assist with the preparation of drinks in the resort bars
  • Knowledge of the wine list.

Productivity

  • Clear and re-lay tables
  • Clear and clean glasses
  • Restock and replenish bar and restaurant supplies
  • Restock breakfast and afternoon tea shifts as necessary
  • Assist with crockery and cutlery polishing and cleaning
  • Note any breakages and record to the Supervisor or Assistant Manager
  • Ensure five-star standard of cleanliness and hygiene are always met 

Sustainability

·       Proactively supervise ESG on your shift in reducing energy consumption and wastage, and create ideas for embedding the policy within your team and your department.

·       Be able to clearly communicate our ESG policy and Earth Check to the team, guests, and suppliers.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 6 months restaurant experience.
  • UK passport/Pre-Settled Status 
  • Basic Wine Knowledge
  • Passionate about Food
