About Meliá White House Hotel NW1 3UP

Meliá White House is a modern and elegantly newly refurbished hotel exceptionally located next to Regent’s Park, within a short walk from the world-renowned shopping streets of Oxford Circus & Regents Street. Commis Chef

 Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Assists in preparing dishes under the guidance of their supervisor, handling tasks with some independence. 
  • Prepares basic dishes and other food items they are trained for.
  • Organizes cold storage and refrigerators in their area, ensuring proper product use.
  • Checks and manages the equipment and ingredients needed for their tasks to minimize waste and loss.
  • Completes assigned duties efficiently and on time, following established procedures and specifications.
  • Handles equipment carefully during use and transport to prevent accidents or damage, adhering to safety standards.
  • Maintains cleanliness and hygiene standards to ensure the quality of prepared dishes.
  • Ensures ingredients meet quality and performance standards, reporting any issues to their supervisor.
  • Communicates any work-related issues affecting service to their supervisor immediately.
  • Follows all instructions and responsibilities assigned by their supervisor.
  • Adheres to HACCP standards set by the company.
