The Food Team Coordinator is an integral role within Inn Collection Group Food Team – supporting day to day operations to ensure we are providing the best service to our inns. This role involves managing office operations, coordinating communication, maintaining records and assisting with other tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of this team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assist in the management of various food team systems, including data entry. Systems include Procure Wizard, Kafoodle and Risk Proof
- Coordinate communication within the food team and with other departments.
- Food safety administration including collating data, reporting and supporting new site openings.
- Collaboration with Commercial team including data entry for recipes, training manuals, pricing and menus.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and databases related to food safety.
- Assist in menu planning, pricing, and promotional activities including proof reading of menus and training documents.
- Assist in budgeting and financial tracking, including processing invoices and expense reports.
- Support the food team in maintaining compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Assist in coordinating and executing special events and functions organized by the food team.
- Provide general administrative support to team members, such as scheduling appointments, managing calendars, and organising documents.
- Supporting wider recruitment efforts and college activities if required
- Past previous experience in the hospitality industry desirable.
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in the food service industry also preferable but not essential
- Strong organisational and multitasking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining records and handling correspondence.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving mindset.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle time-sensitive tasks.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in the food service industry is an advantage.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
