Assistant Manager
The Fox & Goose Hotel, Ealing

Description

Join Fuller’s: Where the true you thrives and diversity is embraced. At Fuller’s we don't just offer jobs, we invite you to celebrate your authentic self. Our four core values – doing things the right way, being part of the family, celebrating individuality and always asking what’s next? – define the essence of who we are.

This is no ordinary "Assistant Manager" role, as there is a huge opportunity to grow and develop in Fuller's largest hotel. So whilst bedroom knowledge is advantageous, it is not essential and we can add this string to your bow. Beyond this, we have an ever growing events business which makes use of our dedicated event and function spaces, hosting a range of events from corporate events, to training days, birthdays, weddings, and the more sensitive celebrations of live. We are looking for someone to join the management team who is enthusiastic and engaged with all things "events" giving a dedicated main point of contact. Unlike bedroom exposure, experience within events would be essential to this role.

The Fox & Goose Hotel provides 73 modern rooms, and doubles as a traditional pub serving classic food. It's close to Wembley Stadium, so you can expect a real influx of visitors at the time of major sporting or music events.

What we can offer you:

  • An exciting variety of career paths: Explore a wide range of roles and career paths across our pubs and hotels.
  • Supportive environment: We put people first and strive for a collaborative and trusting atmosphere where everyone is valued.
  • Continuous growth: Engage in learning and development programs to fuel your personal and professional growth.
  • 25% discount on food and drink, across all our pubs and hotels for you and your friends and family. Increasing to 30% after one year, 35% after three years and 40% after five years.
  • A fair share of tips, paid on top of your hourly pay and paid on a weekly basis.
  • Discounted hotel stays at hotels in the Fuller’s Family
  • Access to ‘My Fuller’s’ – our online benefits platform where you can make savings at 100s of retailers and access discounted gym memberships, cinema tickets and much more.
  • Healthcare Cash Plan – after one year with us you will have access to a 24-hour GP service and the ability to claim your money back for dentist and eyecare appointments.
  • Full induction and training
  • The option to receive up to 35% of your earnings as you earn them with Wagestream. This means you won’t always need to wait until payday.

What we look for in an Assistant Manager:

  • Ability to create a friendly atmosphere for the team and customers.
  • A hands-on leader with the ability to manage the day-to-day running of the business.
  • A confident manager with great decision-making skills.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Interest in learning new skills to enhance your career with our industry leading training and development.
  • Great communication skills
  • Passion for fresh food, great wines, and engaging service.
