At Paris Baguette, we believe joy is baked fresh every dayAs a Baker, you are the engine of our café—turning dough into golden croissants, fluffy donuts, breads, and moreWe are on a mission to bring expertly crafted baked goods to every neighborhood and are looking for masters of their craft to join our new team in Thousand Oaks.

? LEAD TRAINING PROGRAM

We are seeking Lead Bakers for an intensive 4-week training program starting in April. This allows you to master our signature recipes, specialized techniques, and brand standards before our official opening in May.

Note: Candidates who do not move forward in the Lead Baker role will still have the opportunity to be considered for Baker positions closer to our Grand Opening.



? THE ROLE

  • Prepare and bake all bread, pastries, donuts, and desserts to spec and on schedule.
  • Operate ovens, dough conditioners, and fryers safely and efficiently.
  • Handle prep tasks: scaling, shaping, topping, and finishing product.
  • Monitor bake times, temperatures, and product appearance for consistency.
  • Maintain a clean, food-safe, and well-organized back-of-house station.
  • Rotate and stock ingredients, checking for quality and freshness.
  • Complete production logs, waste tracking, and usage sheets.
  • Flag equipment or supply issues to the General Manager.
  • Support the team with flexibility and urgency to meet daily goals.
  • Help train new bakers in recipes and methods as needed.


✨ WHAT YOU BRING

  • At least 1 year of baking experienceExperience in high-volume bakery production is preferred.
  • Familiarity with baking techniques, recipe execution, and production timing.
  • Knowledge of food safety, food labeling, and sanitization practicesFood Handler’s Certification is required.
  • Ability to stand for long shifts and lift up to 30 lbs.
  • Excellent teamwork, organization, and communication skills.
  • Positive energy and a passion for fresh-baked quality.
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities.
