At Paris Baguette, we believe joy is served in every bite. As a Sandwich Team Member, you are a master of your craft, responsible for creating the high-quality sandwiches and salads that our guests love. We are a fast-growing neighborhood bakery café on a mission to bring expertly crafted goods to every community, and we want you to join our new team in Thousand Oaks.
In addition to Sandwich Makers, we are also hiring for Bakers, Cakers, and Retailers. Whether you are a master of the oven or an artist with a piping bag, we have a place for your passion!
THE ROLE
- Prepare a variety of high-quality sandwiches and salads with excellence and precision.
- Make signature dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
- Ensure the sandwich display is always presentable and inviting for our guests.
- Maintain daily par levels and restock stations to ensure a smooth workflow.
- Receive, stock, and store food in an organized manner using designated containers.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, and storage units (refrigerators/freezers).
- Complete various production, usage, and waste reports to maintain accurate records.
- Monitor food supplies and equipment, informing supervisors of any needs or issues.
- Assist in all areas of the restaurant as a dedicated team player.
WHAT YOU BRING
- At least 1 year of food handling or related experience is required.
- Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe knife handling. Food Handler’s Certification is required.
- Strong basic math skills (fractions, decimals, and whole numbers) for measurements.
- High emotional intelligence with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
- A "Teams Win" attitude with a commitment to a collaborative environment.
