Receptionist/Reservationist at Franco’s on Jermyn Street

Franco’s first opened in 1946 and is considered by many to be one of the first Italian restaurants in London. The restaurant’s sister restaurant is Wiltons also on Jermyn Street, both of which are owned by the Hambros family.
The restaurant compromises of a bar area, main dining room and a basement area which can be used as two Private Dining rooms or additional seating for the restaurant.
Franco’s is open all day for breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner Monday to Saturday.

The Role & Duties:

Welcoming and escorting guests to their tables
Answering phone calls, making & cancelling reservations
Assisting with the daily a la carte menu and event menus by liaising with Head Chef and Events Manager
Responding to email requests and enquiries
Build relationships with the local Hotel concierges & regular guests
Assisting the Reception Manager and Events Manager

Ideal Candidate:

7 shift per week – approximately 44 hours per week with 2 days off (Including Sunday)
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Be able to touch type a minimum of 40 wpm.
At least 1 years’ experience in a similar operation
Exceptional customer service skills and telephone manner
Excellent communicator and organisational skills
Able to work under pressure
Real pride & passion for what you do, with the ability to build long term relationships with our regular guests
Having previously worked with OpenTable & TISSL systems
