Description
Frankie, an Australian restaurant and bar located two blocks from the Grove St Path in downtown Jersey, is looking for Bar Backs and Food Runners.
Frankie specializes in modern Australian food and low intervention wines. We use a wide variety of produce from both land and sea. The position is perfect for an energetic and face paced individual that wants to work in a team environment.
The scope of work will include but is not limited to.
Responsibilities
- Being articulate and hospitable to guests and staff while in the restaurant
- Describe food and wine menu to the guests and new employees
- Carrying out daily opening and closing procedures
- Keeping informed about menu changes and events happening in the restaurant
- Participate in preshift meetings and monthly staff meetings
- Be ready to work and learn on the job
Requirements
- 1-2 years experience in a fast paced work environment
- Basic knowledge of service
- Good attitude towards working in a busy team environment
- Hard working and reliable
