The Front Office department is looking for a passionate Guest Experiences Agent to provide guests with outstanding service in this stunning hotel. We are looking for someone with previous hotel experience with excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail while being able to multitask. This position has excellent progression opportunities and would be suited to someone with an enthusiastic personality and can do attitude. This position reports directly to the Reception Manager.

Location: 100 Princes street, Edinburgh 

Employment type: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Working pattern: Shift work 5 days on 2 days off 

Salary: £25,397 + service charge

100 Princes Street is our first hotel in Scotland and is home to 25 iconic guest rooms and five suites. The hotel’s two signature suites – The Archibald and The Isobel – boast direct views of Edinburgh castle. The interiors of 100 Princes Street are inspired by Scottish explorers and their travels. Scottish artisan weaver, Araminta Campbell, was commissioned to create five bespoke tartans for the hotel, that adorn the walls of every bedroom and suite. A number of bedrooms enjoy stunning views across Princes Street Gardens towards Edinburgh Castle. All guest rooms are equipped with every mod-con, including charging points for a variety of devices. The Wallace is our all-day lounge, dining room, well-stocked bar, library and tasting room, guests can dine on delicious hearty fare, made using the freshest local produce while sipping on a single malt or artisan gin, or relax and enjoy traditional afternoon tea while gazing at Edinburgh Castle.   

Key Responsibilities of a Guest Experiences Agent:

  • Managing all emails and administrative duties including responding to guest enquiries in line with our mission statement: “no request is too large, no detail is too small".
  • Creating guest itineraries within and outside of London.
  • Ensuring that all arrival rooms are fully checked and prepared as per the guests’ preferences.
  • Liaising with all hotel departments about regular guests, VIPs and their requirements.
  • Participate in other ad hoc as well as related projects and tasks.

  • Previous luxury hotel experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
